This was incredibly easy, and as Peterhondak mentioned, go directly to overdrive to get the software there ( After you get the software, make sure to register your ADE account in the configurations. once downloaded to the SD card, and I hit open, Overdrive opened for both of them downloaded the content into it, ready to read.
I just went to the Ottawa library and downloaded one epub and one audio book. When I go to manage downloads it says Aldiko failed. But when I go to Aldiko app the books are not in the library. So out it came, I downloaded Aldiko and yes ADE recognizes that and I dragged and dropped the books there. Hopefully they fix this as downloading library books is one of the things I liked most about having an eReader to begin goalie_girl : I did a factory reset and had my Vox packaged and ready ro return for a refund when I read your post. Unfortunately this means you have to read your books through Aldiko instead of your library which is alittle silly. Once I hooked it up to the computer through the USB outlet and opened ADE it recognized my Vox as 'Aldiko' and I was able to drag and drop my library (DRM) ebooks in there. I downloaded Aldiko onto the Vox from their web site (couldn't find it on my 'Get Apps'). HOWEVER I eventually found a solution yesterday. It’s better thought of as a really punchy SDR panel and, indeed, in our testing that’s how it performs best, including comparing games with lots of darker scenes that support HDR, like Metro Exodus, in both SDR and HDR modes.I called the Kobo customer help line and they said they are working on making the Vox compatable with ADE but for the time being it isn't. Whatever, this is not a true HDR display. It’s such a kludgy, half-arsed solution, the G7 would arguably be better off with a single fixed backlight. But there are just eight edge-lit vertical zones. As implied by the DisplayHDR 600 certification, the backlight supports local dimming. Technically, the main shortcoming involves HDR support. Factor in buttery smooth 240Hz refresh and adaptive sync and, well, this is one heck of a gaming panel. But with that you also get the much better contrast and black levels of VA. At a glance, you’d be hard pressed to distinguish it from a very good IPS panel when it comes to colour balance. Inputs-wise, you’re looking at HDMI and DisplayPort but not USB-C.

The HDR capabilities include a peak brightness of 600 nits and up to 95 per cent coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut.
